Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 November 2026

In short: QwertyAI corrects text on your iPhone. We do not run a server, do not have accounts, and do not collect, store or send what you type.

This policy covers the QwertyAI iPhone app and keyboard, provided by Usman Salim ("we", "us").

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers or the text you type, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The app has no account or sign-in.

How text is handled

What is stored on your device

You can clear learned words with Forget learned words in the keyboard, delete saved words in the app, or delete the app to remove all of it. We do not use iCloud.

Optional model download

If you choose the downloadable model, Apple delivers it through Apple-hosted Background Assets, under Apple's terms. The download transfers model files only and never contains text you typed. You can delete the model in the app at any time.

Full Access

iOS shows a warning when you turn on Full Access for any keyboard. QwertyAI works without it. If you enable it, the only extra thing we do is share learned words and settings between the keyboard and the app on your device. We do not use Full Access to send anything off your device.

Third parties

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect it. The app includes open-source software, listed with its notices inside the app.

Children

QwertyAI is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
